Today i am gonna show you how to create your very own website done in less than 10minutes. We will be using a CMS to create your website. Think of CMS like a website with has a front end which your viewers see and a backend through which you can manage your frontend. Hopefully that makes sense.

But why setup your own website? Well first it is important these days to make your online presence and connect yourself with others. Now create websites for your portfolio site, school site or even for a dance group with ease. Do not let the jargons intimidate you. If you don’t understand them please ask questions in the comment area for me to explain more.

It is very important these days to market us and the easiest way to reach masses is through emails. Won’t it be nice if we can have a template which carries our brand identity along with? More importantly if the content of the email template is editable you can change them every time you have to send a new message.
In the final output I will show you how to get a Gmail version of this editable email template and also an Outlook Template version.

Easiest way to upload portfolio or movie – Blip.tv

Hi all! When i wanted to create my own portfolio site i searched all the internet to find the best way to upload my site. I do have my own site but i don’t want to waste my bandwidth and cyber space on uploading videos. Then get a player to display these videos. I mean why re-invent the wheel (Chris Coyer always used to use this word).

There are lots of options available which is easy to access. Once such site is Blip.tv. I have personally used it on my portfolio site at jcrp.justcreative.in. Thought this would be helpful for you people.

UPDATE

Blip.tv converts the file to flv to be run in the video player. But it also gives you a direct link to download both the master file and the converted flv file from their servers. So now we can save a lot of bandwidth and give various versions to our viewers to be downloaded.
