The 3D films have gone to a new level. James Cameron along with his Director of Photography Vince builds a camera which duplicates a human eye closely. Yes instead of a single lens this camera has two lenses which do the same job of a human eye. Hence leaving the brain free to enjoy the film.
Knowing is a 2009 science fiction film directed by Alex Proyas and starring Nicolas Cage. The film has some very good VFX shots. After all its from the director of I Robot. A train crash scene would make any movie enthusiast to ask for once more. Similarly the plane crash scene which was a single shot ran for more than 3mins. What makes it special is that it is a combination of live action and vfx.
Partly Cloudy is a Pixar CGI animated short film directed by Peter Sohn and produced by Kevin Reher. It was shown in theaters before Up. Pixar says ” The challenge to make characters from clouds was one of the more daunting technical aspects for the director. Because a cloud is made of nothing more than moisture and light, the designer and animators of “Partly Cloudy” has a difficult time.
I know we all loved the explosion of the bus in the highway. But it was not CG. Michael Bay and his team pulled out this live action stunt in highway which has never been tried out before. They dint even knew how the explosion is gonna react in real world.

The Transformer tram was given special permission to shoot at the real location. Infact some of the soldiers had acted as extras in the movie. The shooting crew explains how thrilling was it the see the real top secret planes.
